We have good things happening at the café we set up here. It’s a place of discipleship and daily work for our national staff as they provide a consistently good experience for community members. A recent highlight was the commitment to Christ by one of the staff members. She went from lukewarm to on fire or Jesus. The change is evident and the team is stronger now. She beamed with joy while sharing her testimony, recounting the details of her transformation. It included lots of patient input from other staff over several months. Never underestimate the value of constantly instilling small investments of truth and love into people’s lives. This was peer discipleship – not just my husband and I speaking into her life. Running a café has been such a meaningful journey.
