God did a great work in the heart of my friend of many years. She called me and asked if she and her kids could go with us to church on Easter Sunday. Her husband had to work that day. Many times, she has attended our home group and has been knowingly running from God. On Easter Sunday she was touched by seeing a man from her country being baptized. We invited her and her family to come home with us for lunch. While here, she laid out her fears and worries and exchanged them for Jesus’ yoke. What a precious day to celebrate the risen Saviour and new life in my friend. God has been pursuing her for most of her life. Her Christian grandmothers in Colombia instilled in her a lot of scripture as well as Biblical morals. She has
finally found peace.
