We are so thankful God opened the door for my coworkers and I to be invited to two village weddings. Weddings can last for many days and since men and women are very separate, we could not see our male co-worker the whole time. We attended two days of one wedding and four days of another. It was amazing to have the opportunity to chat with hundreds of village women who are normally stuck inside their homes. Many of these women never had a chance to go to school and have very little exposure to the outside world. Their hospitality was amazing, and we found them very warm and open hearted. We had many good times of chatting and dancing with women. It was quite a cultural experience for us. We were thankful for the chance to grow in language and to be a light in a dark place.
