J was riding home in a rickshaw one day when he saw a motorcycle driver nearly lose control on the dirt road beside him. A conversation with the rickshaw driver about dangerous driving led to a mention of death and what comes after. The driver commented that there is no difference between his religion and Christianity. The honest conversation that followed was very special. As the rickshaw turned down a narrow alley, the driver said thoughtfully, “There is something in Christianity that speaks to my heart as my own religion never has.” J listened to a man who is looking for life and knows he has yet to find it. J answered many questions and the man was so eager, finally he said how much he would like to have a Bible and was delighted when J gave him the book of Luke as an app on his phone. Pray for this man. This meeting was a gift to J and M as they were feeling discouraged that day. God is clearly at work.
